Case against former minister in MP

Guna, MP, Feb 28 (UNI) The District Court has directed registering of a case against former minister and BJP's Shadora MLA Gopilal Jatav and 10 others, including a tahsildar and two patwaris in a land purchase case.

While hearing a complaint by Piproda Khurd village's Kewalchandra Ahirwar, Judicial Magistrate Manoj Tiwari yesterday issued the directive against Mr Jatav, Tahsildar Veerendra Katare, patwaris Gajendra Sen, Kumar Bhatt and others. April 26 was set as the next date for hearing.

According to the prosecution, the accused had employed fraudulent means while purchasing land belonging to Piproda Khurd's late Diwakar Dev.

Though Dev died 30 years ago, someone was made to impersonate him.
