Arif Shahid appointed envoy to Italy, Tyagi to Morocco

New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) Mr Arif Shahid Khan and Mr B B Tyagi have been appointed Ambassadors to Italy and Morocco respectively.

Mr Arif, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer of the 1975 batch, is presently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.

Mr Tyagi, presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, is an IFS oficer of the 1979 batch, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said here today.
