BHEL bags 1,075-cr order for Gujarat plant

New Delhi, 27 Feb, 2008 : Power equipment supplier Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd on February 26 is reportedly said to have bagged a Rs1, 075- crore order for setting up a 350-MW power plant in Gujarat.

According to sources the project is slated for completion in the next 27 months. Scope of work for the project reportedly includes supply and commissioning of a gas turbine generator set, a steam turbine generator set and a heat recovery steam generator or HRSG along with other associated auxiliaries.
