Ten hurt in a blast near Tezpur police station
Tezpur, Feb 27 (UNI) At least ten people, including two women, were injured in a blast near Tezpur police station in Assam's Sonitpur district today. The blast took place at about 1430 hours, barely 100 mt from the police station, at a crowded market place.
At least ten people were injured, three of them critically.
One of the seriously injured had been sent to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, while others were admitted to the Tezpur Civil Hospital.
The bomb was kept on a bicycle and militants were suspected to have triggered the blast.
