Industrial plots cleared for Rs 2300 cr projects
Chandigarh, Feb 27 (UNI) A high-level committee, constituted by the Haryana government, today cleared the allotment of industrial plots to 51 units in various industrial estates developed by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
When implemented, these projects will catalyse an investment of Rs 2300 crore besides providing direct employment to more than 5000 people, HSIIDC Managing Director Rajeev Arora said.
A total of 229.75 acres of industrial plots has been alloted in Growth Centre Bawal Phase II and Industrial estates at Barhi and Saha in Sonepat and Ambala districts respectively.
Mr Arora said the allotments have been made in diverse fields of automotive components, electronic, fabric and readymade garments, IT, pre-fabricated sheet, filter and air intake systems, metal fabrication and metal finish, polypropylene compounding and injection moulding, corrugated boxes, fabrication of telecom towers, home furnishing and pickles.
