Dimpi's plea to visit abroad dismissed
Rupnagar, Feb 27 (UNI) Additional Sessions Judge M S Randhawa today dismissed the application moved by Vijay Pal Singh Dimpi, who is a co-accused in the disproportionate assets case against former Punjab DGP S S Virk, to so abroad.
Dimpi had filed the application few days back in the court seeking permission to visit Malaysia from March 4 to 15 to attend a marriage.
The application was taken up for hearing today. The prosecution vehemently opposed the application saying that Dimpi was required for investigation in the case.
