CM fund's information to be made public

Mumbai, Feb 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has decided to make Chief Minister fund's information public and also to appoint Information Officer and Appellate Officer for the same.

CM fund's use is extremely 'transperant' and the fund is used for medical, education, cultural reasons and natural and man-made disasters, an official release stated.

Several people were deliberately trying to create a scenario that the fund is not transperant and took the matter to Information Commissioner. Therefore, Mr Deshmukh has decided to make the fund public.
