All Delhi Government Hospitals to be online soon: Sheila
New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said all Delhi Government hospitals will soon be online so that availability of beds could be known to facilitate admission of patients.
This would also help in providing better health facilities to the citizens of Delhi, the Chief Minister told reporters at Golden Jubilee Function of MAMC.
Speaking at the function, where Vice President M Hamid Ansari was the Chief Guest, Ms Dikshit said the Delhi Government had taken many initiatives by opening new peripheral hospitals, upgradation of existing hospitals, augmentation of services by making use of latest technological advancement in Medicare system to bring about qualitative improvement in the functioning of the hospitals.
On this occasion, the Vice President released a special cover to commemorate completion of 50 years of college. A historical museum of MAMC was also opened by the Chief guest.
Also present on the occasion were Union Minister of state for communication Shakeel Ahmad and Delhi Health Minister Yoganand Shastri and senior officials of the Health Department.
