Senior JKLF leader released after five years detention

Srinagar, Feb 25 (UNI) A senior leader of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Nazir Ahmad Sheikh alias Gula Denter was released after serving five years detention.

Sheikh, a resident of Batmaloo, was arrested by security forces and detained under athe Public Safety Act (PSA) in 2002.

He was lodged in different jails in and outside the State during the detention period.

However, he was released on court orders.

Sheikh was given a warm welcome by JKLF leaders at party headquarter at Maisuma near here this afternoon.
