CPI(M), CPI to contest together in MP Assly polls
Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh CPI (M) has decided to continue its electoral alliance with the CPI in the upcoming Assembly election later this year.
In a release issued here today, the party said the two-day state-level meeting decided to field less number of candidates during the coming polls and to review preparations in 14 Assembly segments.
Lashing out at the Congress and the BJP, the meeting felt that the Left parties should struggle for alternative policies.
The meeting claimed that it did not appear that the Congress, which had hiked the price of petrol and diesel, felt the need to change its policies.
