Cheryl Cole resumes maiden name

London, Feb 24 : Cheryl Cole has given a crucial clue about the state of her marriage with footballer Ashley Cole - by reverting to her maiden name.

The Girls Aloud singer jetted out of London's Heathrow airport for Los Angeles where she reportedly was met by a driver holding a one-word sign: "Tweedy".

Cheryl has also not been seen wearing her wedding ring for the past few days, thus giving further proof that she s not back with her cheating hubby.

The singer is in LA to lens her TV show Passions and is expected to stay with bandmate Nadine Coyle.

"Cheryl still doesn't know. It still hangs in the balance as to whether she'll take Ash back," News of the World quoted a source, as saying.

"The girls all agree that she should just give him the boot. Cheryl's really left Ashley sweating buckets over things," the source added.
