Chandrachudan is named RSP General Secretary

New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) Mr T J Chandrachudan was today elected General Secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) at the conclusion of the party's three-day 18th national conference here.

He was elected unanimously by the delegates attending the conference.

The meet took stock of the present-day political scenario both at national and international levels, RSP MP Abani Roy told UNI here. Following the three-day deliberations the party's future course of action would be announced tomorrow, he said.

Mr Chandrachudan is a member of the UPA-Left committee on the nuclear deal and is a strong critic of India signing the proposed nuclear deal with the US.
