Catherine Zeta Jones makes a surprise visit to her granny

Washington, Feb 24 : No matter how much success she's got in showbiz, Catherine Zeta-Jones has not forgotten her roots.

The actress made a surprise trip to her native homeland Wales to celebrate her grandmother's 91st birthday, reports Contactmusic.

The 'Mask Of Zorro' beauty flew off in a private jet from her luxurious house in Bermuda to Zeta-Jones' modest home in Ravenhill, Swansea.

The 38-year-old actress got her stage name, Zeta, from her grandmother, who was named after a boat her great-grandfather once sailed in.

The Oscar-winning actress spent an hour with her grandmother and went out to a local florist to buy her a special birthday bouquet.

Later Catherine headed to her parents' home in nearby Mumbles.
