Tirupur exporters hail new policy for MSMEs
Tirupur, Feb 23 (UNI) The Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) today congratulated Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and state Rural Industries minister Pongalur N Palanisamy for unveiling a policy for the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
Welcoming the policy TEA President A Sakthivel said in a press release here that the policy would be a trend setter for the growth of MSM enterprises in Tamil Nadu.
He said the inclusion of Ready Made Garments as one of thrust sectors would help the knitwear sector to promote employment and enhance the competitiveness in the global market.
He said the simplification of procedures in the policy would help to reduce unnecessary delay and manpower.
The MSM enterprises could concentrate more on production.
Mr Sakthivel hoped the ensuing export policy would be beneficial to the export sector especially knitwear.
