Six killed in road accidents in AP villages

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Six people were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Mahaboob Nagar and Karim Nagar districts in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said three persons were killed, when their jeep collided head on with a tractor near Bala Nagar in Mahaboob Nagar district.

The jeep, proceeding from Jadcharla to Shad Nagar hit the tractor, which was on its way to Balanagar from Shad Nagar.

The deceased included two occupants of the jeep and one of tractor.

The drivers were arrested.

In another accident, three people were killed on the spot and one was injured, when a speeding tipper knocked down two two-wheelers near Sirikonda village in Karim Nagar district.

The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital.
