Pune Feb 23 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttarakhand.

Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema, interior Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or snow have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Orissa, south Chattisgarh and Rayalseema and were below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and in remaining parts of Orissa.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra and in some parts of Marathwada and were above normal in Uttar Pradesh, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and north coastal Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
