Ornamental fish seized from air passenger

Chennai, Feb 23 (UNI) Customs officials seized ornamental fish, worth Rs two lakh in the international market, from a passenger at international airport here today.

Official sources said the fish were seized from one Sayeed Imbrahim, who arrived in a Jet Airways flight from Kuala Lumpur.

The fish were hidden in his suitcase.

The passenger was asked to pay a fine of Rs 50,000.

The fish would be returned to Kuala Lumpur, the official added.
