One held for travelling with forged passport
Mangalore, Feb 23 (UNI) Close on the heels of the arrest of a resident from Kasargod, Bajpe Airport authorities here arrested another person while boarding a Gulf flight with forged passport.
The immigration police yesterday met with another similar case where a person was trying to travel abroad with a fake passport.
Police said that Mohammed Rashid (28), a native of Malkur in Mani village near Bantwal in Daxina Kannada, was arrested by the immigration police when he was about to board a Dubai flight from here with a forged passport.
Police had arrested a person on same charges at the airport on February 19.
A case had been booked against Rashid and investigation is on, the police added.
