One gored to death, 140 injured in jallikattu

Pudukkottai, Feb 23 (UNI) One person was gored to death and 140 others were injured in a jallikattu (bull fight) incident at Killanur village near here yesterday.

Police said the deceased was identified as Chinnarasu (45) of Kongathirayanpatti village.

The injured were treated at Government hospitals at Keeranur and Pudukkottai, police said.
