Mayawati running transfer industry in UP: BJP

Basti, Feb 23 (UNI) Attacking the ruling Mayawati led-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said ''transfer'' industry was flourishing under her rule, while all development works were in the dumps.

'' The development works are only on the papers...if any development work is being done, standards are being ignored for them,'' BJP state unit president Dr Ramapati Ram Tripathi said addressing media here.

''Ms Mayawati is busy installing busts and making parks, but she is not seeing the problems of the people in the drought-hit Bundelkhand region,'' the BJP leader charged.

He flayed the CM for not doing anything for the cane farmers.
