Major fire breaks out at Everest Malasa Units

Mumbai, Feb 23: A major fire broke out at the Everest Masala Units in Narayan Nagar at Ghatkopar in eastern suburb this morning.

The fire broke out around 0645 hrs, fire brigade sources said, adding eight fire engines, four water tankers and one ambulance were immediately pressed into service to arrest the blaze.

The fire was brought under control and no casualty was reported so far.

The cause of the fire and the damages were yet to be ascertained, sources added.
