Four killed, three injured in road accident in Orissa
Puri,Feb 23 (UNI) In all four people died and three injured in a road accident on the Puri-Konark marine drive near the Kushabhadra bridge when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned and fell into a ditch today.
Police said the deceased included a seven-year-old child and a woman, who got married just ten days back. Those killed were Biswajita Jena, her mother Minati Behera, aunt Anjana Mohanty and a child.
All the three injured, including Biswajita's husband, were admitted to the Puri District Headquarters hospital.
Police said the accident occured when the front tyre of the vehicle got deflated.
The victims were going for a darshan of the Goddess Mangla at Kakatpur from their village at Chandanpur.
