Former Mukhiya, his son get RI in rape case

Samastipur, Feb 23 (UNI) A local sessions court today awarded ten years Rigorous Imprinsonment(RI) to a former Mukhiya(village head) and his son in a rape case.

Additional district and sessions judge Vinodanand Jha found both the accused guilty of raping their co-villager Janki Devi and awarded them ten years RI under section 376 of IPC.

According to the charges the victim was raped by the duo at Patalia village under Bibhutipur police station in the district in 2002.
