Eight injured in a blast in Assam
Guwahati, Feb 23 (UNI) At least eight people were injured, one of them seriously, when unidentified ultras this evening lobbed a grenade at Diphu, the headquarters of Karbi Anglong district.
Police here said the critically injured, identified as Ashadul Islam, was referred to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
The blast took place at around 1815 hrs, police added.
Police suspected it to be the handiwork of the Karbi Longri Liberation Front.
