CPI(M) condemns ban on Jodha Akbar
Bhopal, Feb 23 (UNI) Criticising the Madhya Pradesh government for imposing a ban on Ashutosh Govarikar-directed controversial Hindi film 'Jodha-Akbar', the CPI(M) state committee unit today described it as surrender of democratic values before narrow-mindedness.
In a state-level meeting commenced here, the party termed it an example of 'literary illiteracy' akin to 'Talibanisation'.
Demanding the immediate withdrawal of the ban, the party said the judgement should be left to viewers.
