BJP MLA Krishnanad Rai murder case hearing on Feb 29

Ghazipur, Feb 23 (UNI) A local court today fixed February 29 as the next date of hearing into BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai murder case.

Fast Track Court (I) Judge Shaileshvar Nath Singh put off the case due to absence of witnesses.

Accused -- Mau's MLA Mukhtar Ansari, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Ghazipur Afzaal Ansari, his brother-in-law Ezazulhaq Ansari, Rakesh Pandey, Sanjeev Maheshvari alias Jeeva, Ramu Mallah and Manssor Ansari -- were presented before the court amid tight security arrangements.
