Student locked in class room for six hours: Head Master apologises
Kendrapara, Feb 22 (UNI) The Head Master of a Primary School under Talachua Gram Panchayat of Rajnagar block in Kendrapara district today begged apology for locking up a class three student in a class room by mistake.
The school authorities locked the room without checking after the school got over at 1300hrs yesterday. Sushant Mandal, the student, was asleep then.
The parents of the boy along with some villagers frantically searched for the boy when he failed to return home.They went to the school and rescued the boy six hours after the school was closed.
The villagers of Khashamunda brought the matter before the district administration and panchayatraj representatives and demanded action against the teachers for their negligence.
