Special education centre to be opened for eunuchs in city
Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration has decided to open special education centre for eunuchs who are being deprived of education.
UT Home Secretary Krishna Mohan disclosed that the decision has been taken on the basis of representation received from a eunuch's organization.
Mr Mohan said that the Education Department has decided to open special education centre for these children which is their fundamental right. They will be included in Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan as children with special need.
