Satyam launches Life Sciences Center of Excellence.

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) IT Major Satyam today launched the Life Sciences Center of Excellence (CoE) to address industry needs in the areas of clinical drug accountability, drug counterfeiting among others.

The facility was today inaugurated by Satyam Founder Chairman B Ramalinga Raju on the sidelines of RxCellence, a life science's conclave which Satyam hosted at its School of Leadership in the city.

Later addressing the media, Satyam Computer Services Commercial and Healthcare Business President Ram Mynampati said the Life Sciences CoE would showcase Satyam's domain expertise and thought leadership in the industry.

While there were quite a few discrete point solutions attempting to address various industry ''pain points,'' they were often incomplete requiring huge amount of customisation and complex integration.

The CoE solutions would provide the necessary frameworks with flexibility and ease of customization, enabling faster implementation and therefore a better return on investments.

''Customers have moved on and ahead from the traditional services model. They are now looking at us, the service providers, to help identify tomorrow's business challenges and collaborate proactively in building solutions and frameworks which deliver faster and better return on invesments.
