Sakthi Sugars buys Swedish auto parts maker
New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Sakthi Sugars Ltd today said its European unit has acquired Swedish auto-parts maker Arvika Gjuteri AB.
The company's European subsidiary Orlandofin BV has acquired Sweden-based Arvika Gjuteri AB, which has a production capacity of 28,000 MTs per annum of castings for buses, trucks, and heavy off-road vehicles, and a machine shop, a company statement said.
The financial details were not disclosed.
Sakthi Sugars has a auto parts unit called Sakthi Auto Components.
Incorporated in 1961, Sakthi Sugars is promoted by the Sakthi group, which deals in manufacturing and marketing of crystal sugar, industrial alcohol, iron castings, soya products, sunflower oil, molasses, fertilisers, chemicals, seeds, bio earth and other industrial products.
