Rs 51,95,300 collected as fine by Clean Up Marshall
Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) The Clean Up Marshall of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation have fined 14,244 people and collected Rs 51,95,300 as fine since the start of the campaign, Additional Municipal Commissioner R A Rajiv said here today.
Addressing mediapersons, Mr Rajiv said that the campaign has been successful to some extent and more and more people are getting aware about cleanliness.
Municipal Commissioner Jairaj Phatak added that the people who have visited the city after some time are happy with the increased cleanliness in the city.
