One arrested for taking bets on Aussie-Lanka one-day match
Bangalore, Feb 22 (UNI) Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police today arrested one person indulged taking bets on the today's one-day cricket between Australia and Sri Lanka played at Melbourne and seized Rs 72 lakh cash from his possession.
Police said that two mobile phones and a TV used for betting was also seized from Sarveshchanra Kumar during a raid on his house following a tip off.
The police have also seized documents relating to transaction of Rs 75 lakh in betting.
