Maulana Azad's 50th death anniversary observed by NCP

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Freedom fighter, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's 50th death anniversary was observed by the minorities department of the Nationalist Congress Party here today.

State PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, who was the chief guest at the function said the Muslims should be educated in order to face the competitive world. The Government would work in the direction and the Sachar Committee report should be implemented soon.

Without naming anyone, Bhujbal said due to political gains, some politicians were not willing to solve the issues of the minorities including the implementation of Sachar Committee report, as it would end the political mileage they are getting from the same.
