Jolie, Pitt officially adopt 4-year-old Pax

Washington, Feb 22 : Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's adoption of 4-year-old Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt has finally gotten the official seal of approval from a Los Angeles County Children's Court judge.

A rep of the 'Tomb Raider' star confirmed the happy news on Feb 20.

Jolie's adoption of Pax from the Tam Binh orphanage just outside Ho Chi Minh City became official in Vietnam on 15 Mar 2007 allowing them to bring him to the United States.

"You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings, with new people and a new language. He is very strong," People quoted Jolie, as saying at that time.

Meanwhile Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, who have are also parents to two other adopted kids - Maddox and Zahara - as well as biological child Shiloh, have reportedly agreed a 100-million-pound pre-nup contract prior to their wedding.
