Highway traffic affected due to transporters' stir

Imphal, Feb 22: Highway traffic was affected today for the second day due to a stir called by the Imphal to Jiribam Tata Sumo Taxi Service Association to oppose demand of money by suspected militants from the transporters.

Secretary of Imphal to Jiribam Tata Sumo Taxi Service Association Moirangthem Ishwarchandra said earlier two Tata Sumos were also attacked at Kotlen, Tamenglong district.

Due to the stir normal traffic was affected and people faced great hardship.
