Gold ends at all-time high of Rs 12,230 per ten gm

Mumbai, Feb 22: The upward trend of Gold prices continued for the third consecutive day today and the yellow metal closed at an historic high of Rs 12,230, rising by Rs 30 per ten gm on the Bullion market on persistent buying from stockists, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Silver closed at Rs 22,540 easing by Rs 15 per kg, traders added. Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 22,540 (22,555) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,230 (12,200) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,285 (12,255).
