Four Maoists, one policeman killed in exchange of fire

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Four Maoists and a policeman were killed in an exchange of fire at the Deggur Jungle jurisdiction near Nagpur today.

The Maoists had established a camp at Deggur Jungle area, police said.

The police had launched a combing operation in the area to flush out the outlaws when the Maoists opened fire on them, killing one policeman.

The police retaliated and four Maoists were gunned down, police said.
