Four killed, eight injured in two accidents in AP
Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) Four people, including one woman, were killed and eight others injured in two separate road accidents at Karimnagar and Anantapur districts in Andhra Pradesh today.
Police said two people were killed and two others injured when the auto in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Sultanabad in Karim Nagar district.
The auto, proceeding towards Karim Nagar, hit the lorry, which was on its way to Ramagundum from Karim Nagar, killing two on the spot. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
In another accident, two people, including one woman, were killed and six others injured when the auto in which they were travelling collided head-on with a State-owned Road Transport Corporation (TRC) bus near Kondapur village in the district.
Police said the auto, proceeding from Tadipatri to Kadavakallu, collided with the bus, which was on its way to Kadapa from Anantapur.
The injured were shifted to Anantapur Government Hosptial, where their condition was stated to be critical.
