Chennai commercial area fire damages property worth millions

Chennai, Feb 22 : A major fire in a commercial area of Chennai destroyed property and goods worth millions early on Friday morning. olice, however, said there was no human casualty.

They said sixteen fire tenders and three foam tenders involving 150 personnel were called in to control the blaze at two chemical companies on Nainiappan Naicker Street in Parrys Corner.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
