Warm weather continues in Delhi, mercury rises to 27.6 deg C
New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) Delhi's movement towards the Spring season today continued with the mercury rising to 27.6 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.
After a slight drop yesterday, the minimum temperature rose to 9.2 degrees.
With the maximum also recorded at three degree above normal at 27.6 degrees, the warmth in the air persisted.
A slight mist was witnessed in the morning though the visibility levels remained near normal at 800m.
The warmth in the air is likely to persist in the coming days with weatherman forecasting a rise in minimum temperature to around 12 degrees tomorrow.
The met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the sky likely to become cloudy later in the day. There is also likelihood of slight mist in the morning.
