S Indian artist sculpts miniatures on chalk

Mattancherry, Feb 20, 2008 : After chalking out a career as a drawing master, A B Sainudeen at Mattancherry in India's southern state of Kerala has mastered the art of sculpting miniatures on blackboard chalks and also colouring them.

The most surprising thing about Sainudeen is that he has never studied art and yet his interest took him to teaching art in a school where he has been for the past 35 years.
