Sun TV launches FM radio stations in Thrissur, Mangalore

Mumbai, Feb 20: Chennai-based Sun TV Network will launch its FM radio stations in Thrissur today and in Mangalore tomorrow under the brand 'S FM' through its Subsidiary Kal Radio.

These stations can be heard at 93.5 MHz frequency and will cater to the audience of all age groups. With the launch, the total operational FM stations of Sun TV will go up to 24 as it already operates in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati, Madurai, Tuticorin, Lucknow, Bhopal, Pondicherry, Kozhikode (Calicut), Indore/Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry, Kanpur and Thiruvananthapuram.

The Company holds licences for 45 FM radio stations across India, and will be one of the largest radio broadcasters in the country when all the remaining 21 stations become operational, the network informed the BSE yesterday.
