Pure gold touches all time high of Rs 12,060 per ten gm

Mumbai, Feb 20: Pure gold today closed at an all-time record high of Rs 12,060 per 10 gm and Silver registered a nearly two year high at Rs 22,135 per kg on strong global advice alongwith speculative demand from ornament makers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Standard gold and Pure gold rose smartly by Rs 355 per 10 gm each from their last close, while Silver was up by Rs 530 per kg on lack of offloading by stockists.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 22,135 (21,605) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,005 (11,650) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,060 (11,705).
