Protest over kidnap of two engineers

Imphal, Feb 20 (UNI) The engineers of Manipur today staged a sit in protest at Khuyathong in Imphal West to protest the kidnapping of two engineers by suspected Kuki militants on February 18.

Ng Manglemjao, executive engineer with the Public Works Department and his wife Ng Shanti of Irrigation and Flood Control department (IFCD) were kidnapped by suspected militants From Imphal East areas.

Earlier, several engineers have been kidnapped by ultras in the state.
