Hooda takes tea break at old favourite roadside joint

Ambala, Feb 20 (UNI) Nanak Chand, owner of a local tea shop was in for a pleasant surprise, when Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on way to Chandigarh from Karnal took an unscheduled halt at his Tea Stall at Baldevnagar, Ambala City.

The small shop had been the favourite eating joint of Mr Hooda to take tea and refreshment prior to becoming the chief minister of the state.

Besides enjoying the tea and samosa, he exchanged pleasantries with Nanak Chand and went down the memory lane when he used to spend hours in his shop with his friends discussing political and social issues.

Nanak said he felt ''honoured'' by the CM's gesture yesterday.

The moment would remain etched in his memory forever, he added.
