Gujarat Gas net profit surges 112.8%
New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) Gujarat Gas Company Ltd today said it has posted 112.8 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 38.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 18.23 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
Its total income increased 47.2 per cent to Rs 349.15 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 237.15 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
The company's yearly profit also surged 78.9 per cent to Rs 159.09 crore for the year ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 88.89 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
Its total income in FY07 increased 43.7 per cent to 1214.69 crore from Rs 844.75 crore for the year ended December 31, 2006.
