Canara Bank slashes BPLR by 25 basis points

Bangalore, Feb 20 (UNI) Public Sector Canara Bank had effected a reduction in BPLR by 25 basis points with effect from February 25.

A release said here today the reduction is in addition to the one effected last week by 25 basis points.

The present reduction in effect, brings down the Benchmark PLR of the Bank from 13.25 per cent to 12.75 per cent in less than a fortnight.
