DYFI stage novel protest against hike in petroleum products
Madurai, Feb 19 (UNI) In a novel protest against the recent hike in the prices of petrol and diesel, members of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) staged a novel protest by wearing 'Barbarian dress' (Dress made of Leaves) and pulled an auto-rickshaw through the important streets in the city today.
The DYFI members wore a dress made of leaves and pulled an auto-rickshaw with a rope from the North Mela Masi Street Junction to the important thoroughfares around the city.
The agitators demanded immediate withdrawal of hike in oil prices.
