One killed in truck accident at Shimla

Shimla, Feb 18 (UNI) A person was killed when a truck he was driving rolled into a gorge near Auckland School Tunnel here this evening, police said.

Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Sarkaghat in Mandi district of the state, was driving the truck when it fell into the gorge.

The police said the cause of the accident was, however, not immediately known.

His body was handed over to his family members after post mortem examination, the police said and added that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
