Injured tiger serious in MP
Bhopal, Feb 18 (UNI) The condition of an aged tiger, who was brought in a special vehicle this morning to the Van Vihar National Park here for treatment after being found severely injured in Satna district's Uchehra forest area on Saturday, is serious.
''Veterinarians attending on the carnivore say that the next 48 to 72 hours will be crucial. Prime facie a bullet injury to the back was suspected but today's surgery did not lead to finding of any bullet. Two specialists are arriving from Jabalpur tomorrow morning,'' said Park Director Jasveer Singh Chouhan.
Another surgery would take place if necessary. The beast's rear was numbed by the injury.
